The Architecture of Decency is the trans- formation of a story told on the podcast On Being. The episode tells the story of a sus- tainable community architecture project in rural Alabama, U.S. Photos were collected from photo archives of the Rural Studio. The story is told by both residents and architec- tural designers, and the book visually explores the intersection of perception of the projects. This story was integral to my investigation into architecture as a form of bene cial service to others.
